Looking for clients who have experienced abuse/ill-treatment

MDAC uses law to secure equality, inclusion and justice. Our strategic litigation helps people and it also sparks wider changes to laws and policies. We are currently looking for people with mental health issues (psychosocial disabilities) or intellectual disabilities who have, since January 2015, experienced abuse or ill-treatment such as:
- Physical or sexual abuse in mental health or social care settings
- Psychiatric medication, causing serious unwanted side effects
- Extreme neglect
- Denial of healthcare
- Physical or chemical restraints, solitary confinement
We are looking for people from: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia and Slovenia. If you know someone whose case fits these criteria, please fill out this form and email it to referrals@mdac.org and we will get in touch with you.
