My internship with MDAC was truly instructive and unique. I had a chance to work under supervision of professional people.

MDAC as an organisation should be a role-model for other non-governmental organisations. I was lucky to observe the process of decision and policy-making at two collaborative meetings between MDAC’s distinguished trustees and staff members.  From these meetings, I learnt about standard characteristics of any successful organization.

I identified a series of organisational qualities I want to see at my future workplace, which would probably be an international organisation.  Undoubtedly, I treasure MDAC for giving me an opportunity to learn about the experiences of people with intellectual and mental disabilities. Through research and studying the MDAC cases dealt at the European Court of Human Rights, I got to know examples of gross human rights violations and the ways  to eliminate these injustices, although not always successfully. Besides professional experience, I also enjoyed the company of other interns working with me.

I really liked my experience at MDAC, and also a chance of cultural enrichment by living in Budapest, which is full of historical marks, as early as dating to the medieval period, and the twentieth century history, of which I am particularly fond of.
