Anna Nilsson

Anna is a doctoral student at Lund University in Sweden. Her research project concerns the right to individual self-determination within legal systems concerning legal capacity and non-consensual medical treatment, focusing on CRPD and Swedish law.

She is a lawyer by education and has worked with rights of persons with disabilities for several years, in Sweden as advisor/ litigator at the Equality Ombudsman and in Strasbourg as advisor to the Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights.
